Who the heck are we?
Upwerdz is sort of like an accordion--an expanding/contracting group of photo/video pros coming together on projects that tell good stories.
Sometimes there's just one guy manning the controls, while other times there's a bunch of us on set shooting, directing, and preparing to edit.
Collectively, we've knocked out hundreds of commercial spots, news promos, movie trailers, and long-form documentaries--gathering a half dozen or so regional Emmy Awards out here in the West.

VIDEO PRODUCTION
- Motion Graphics: Whether it's end credits for your documentary, animated text and 3D imagery for a network promo, or even the beloved flying logo, motion graphics is a big part of what we do.
- Editing: From commercials and promos to network news and documentaries, we've edited just about everything. We'd love to put together your next story, too!
- Writing: No matter the graphics or the editing, any good production begins with a solid script. Before you start the clock in the edit bay, make sure you've spent enough time getting it on paper first. When all is said and done, solid writing generally pays for itself.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- Sports: It's been said that if you give a guy a camera and put him on a field or court, he'll be happy forever. OK, maybe I'm the one who said it, but capturing major events through a lens makes us happy.
- Corporate: If it's your business that's putting on a major event, we can help with that, too! Whether it's a local press conference or a retreat on a cruise ship, we've been there and shot that.
- Aerial: While we love shooting with two feet on the ground, we also love capturing photos and video in the air. Real estate, stock footage, milestone events--you name it. We'll be there with the bird.
